The Electrical Rules Check Setup Dialog.

Summary

The Electrical Rules Check Setup dialog provides controls related to ERC check.

Access

In Schematic editor, open an Output Job File, add a new Electrical Rules Check report in Validation Outputs area. Right click and select Configure to access this dialog. 

Options/Controls

Columns Tab

• Validation - The designer can define the maximum tolerated error level when validating release, there are three options in drop-down list: No error, Warning, Error.
• Suppressed Errors - Enable this option to report suppressed errors.
• Show Columns - The designer can choose which columns to be displayed in ERC report. There are three options available: Class, Document, Message.
• Preview - The enabled columns can be previewed in this region.

Error Reporting Tab

This tab is the same as the Error Reporting tab in Project Options dialog Project Options - Error Reporting.

Connection Matrix Tab

This tab is the same as the Connection Matrix tab in Project Options dialog Project Options - Connection Matrix.
