Main article: Live Drill Table

The Drill Table is a key element in the PCB fabrication documentation. To simplify and enhance the use and presentation of the Drill Table, the designer can now control the text alignment for each column, and can also set the width of each column.

Use the alignment and column width features to present the table as you need it.

Text Alignment

The default alignment state for all columns is Left. To change the alignment, right-click anywhere in the column and select the required setting from the Text Alignment sub-menu, as shown in the image below.

Set the text alignment to suit the contents of the column.

Note that the alignment settings only affects the presentation in the Drill Table object placed in the workspace, they do not display in the dialog.

Column Width Control

There are two approaches to defining the width of a column: it can either be set to Autosize, which sets the size to fit the widest element within the column (including the Header); or it can be set to a specific, user-defined Manual value. To change the column width, right-click anywhere in the column and select the required setting from the Set column width sub-menu, as shown in the image below.

When the column width is set to Autosize, Altium Designer will calculate a column width to fit the widest element in the column.
