NB2DSK01 - PS2 Mouse and Keyboard Ports
The NB2DSK01 provides two standard PS/2 interfaces, for connection of an IBM PS/2-compatible mouse and keyboard. Each port is implemented using a 6-way mini-DIN (Female) connector and is directly connected to two daughter board FPGA I/O pins, providing CLOCK and bidirectional DATA lines respectively.
Location on Board
The 6-way mini-DIN connectors used to provide the PS/2 Mouse port (designated J6
with green colored jack) and the PS/2 Keyboard port (designated J5
with purple colored jack) are located on the component side of the board, between the USB interface and the 5V power connectors.
Schematic Reference
