WB_PRTIO - Block Diagrams

Frozen Content

The following sections provide high-level block diagrams for each of the three port types to which the WB_PRTIO component can be configured – Output, Input/Output and Tristate.

Port Type: Output

Figure 1. Block Diagram for WB_PRTIO configured as port type: Output.

Figure 1 is drawn primarily to represent the device when configured to provide a single port. The grayed-out areas of the diagram apply to the two port and/or four port devices only.

ADR_I will be 1 bit when the device is configured to provide two ports and 2 bits when configured to provide four ports. The width of the data and port buses depends on the bus width chosen when configuring the device – either 8-bit, 16-bit or 32-bit.

Port Type: Input/Output

Figure 2. Block Diagram for WB_PRTIO configured as port type: Input/Output.

Figure 2 is drawn primarily to represent the device when configured to provide a single port. The grayed-out areas of the diagram apply to the two port and/or four port devices only.

Port Type: Tristate

Figure 3. Block Diagram for WB_PRTIO configured as port type: Tristate.

Figure 3 is drawn primarily to represent the device when configured to provide a single port. The grayed-out areas of the diagram apply to the two port and/or four port devices only.
