Integrated Pin Swapping

Frozen Content

For better handling of differential pairs while interactively routing, integrated pin (subnet) swapping on the fly has been introduced. The integrated routing command uses pin swapping information available within the project. For example, if you're routing towards a FPGA IO pin that can be swapped with other IO pins in the same bank the router will highlight the swappable options. And if the new route is terminated on one of the swap options the pin swap is automatically performed.

While interactive routing, use the Enable Subset Swapping command from the shortcut menu to enable this feature. Selecting Swap Target Subnet allows the routing target to be swapped without terminating the current route.
