The Layer Properties Dialog.

Summary

In Layer Properties dialog, the designer can choose a desired layer and set up its properties for the printout.

Access

In the PCB Printout Properties dialog(Click Configure button for PCB Prints in Default Prints page of Project Options), right-click and choose Properties to access this dialog.

Options/Controls

Print Layer Type

The drop-down list includes all existing layer in current PCB board, choose a desired layer for this printout.

Free Primitives

The designer can configure the free primitives' appearance in this area respectively, three options are available: Full, Draft, Off. There are also three buttons for group operation.

Full - By clicking this button, all free primitives can be shown fully.
Draft - By clicking this button, all free primitives can only show draft.
Hide - By clicking this button, all free primitives will be turned off.

Component Primitives

The designer can configure the components' appearance in this area respectively, three options are available: Full, Draft, Off. There are also three buttons for group operation.

Full - By clicking this button, all components can be shown fully.
Draft - By clicking this button, all free components can only show draft.
Hide - By clicking this button, all free components will be turned off.

Others

The designer can configure the other objects' appearance in this area respectively, three options are available: Full, Draft, Off. There are also three buttons for group operation.

Full - By clicking this button, all objects in this area can be shown fully.
Draft - By clicking this button, all objects in this area can only show draft.
Hide - By clicking this button, all objects in this area will be turned off.

Drill Layers

First - Specify the start layer for drill pairs from drop-down list.
Last - Specify the end layer for drill pairs from drop-down list.

Legend Sorting

The designer can define legend sorting method in this region, Sort By Hole Size or Sort By Hole Count.

Legend Symbols

The designer can define legend symbols in this region, using Characters, Size of Hole String, or Graphics Symbol.

Drill Drawing Symbol Size

The designer can define drill drawing symbol size in this region.
