The Confirmed Save for Modified Documents Dialog.

Summary

The Confirm Save for Modified Documents dialog lists all documents that have changed since the last save operation and gives you full control over which documents in the list are saved and which are not.

Access

This dialog can be accessed when you try to close the project documents.

Options/Controls

Document Name - List the name of the documents.

Document Path - List the storage path of the documents.

Decision - Click inside the Decision column entry for a document to access a drop-down, from where you can toggle the save decision.

Save All - Click this button to save all documents in one go.

Save None - Click this button and the open documents that have been edited will not be saved.

Save Selected -  Click this button to save the selected documents from the list (these entries that have Save from the Decision column). These documents that are not selected will have the Don't Save entry and will not be saved

Select the documents in the list, using CTRL and SHIFT keys, and then click the Save Selected button - the Decision entries for the selected documents will change to Save, whereas those that were not selected will be given the decision Don't Save. Alternatively, click inside the Decision column entry for a document to bring up a drop-down, from where you can toggle the save decision.

For schematic documents, if the current file format is not Binary Version 5.0, the File Format dialog will appear, from where you can select in which format you wish to save. By default, the option to save in Binary Version 5.0 will be selected. If you have used features that were not available in previous versions of Design Explorer, saving in an earlier format may result in loss of data.
