Summary

This command is used to turn word wrapping mode off in the current document. After launching the command, text entered will no longer be wrapped at either the right-hand margin or the right-hand edge of the display area window.

Notes

With word wrapping disabled, lines of text can become extremely long. To make the document more readable, either enable word wrapping or manually insert carriage returns.

You can change between word wrap modes at any time - the text in the document will be reformatted to comply with the mode chosen.

This command can also be enabled/disabled in the Options tab of the Preferences dialog.
