Summary
This command is used to delete a single character to the left of the cursor in the current document. If one or more characters in the document are selected, then the command will delete the selection. Simply position the text cursor at the required location in the document, to the right of the character to be deleted and launch the command to remove the character to the left of this position. Using the command repeatedly will delete further characters to the left of the original position.
If you have any text selected in the document, then launching the command will remove the selection.
Notes
The deleted character(s) or selection can be restored using the Undo command.
