The Schematic – Break Wire page of the Preferences dialog provides controls related to breaking wires in the schematic.
Access
The Schematic – Break Wire page is part of the main Preferences dialog (DXP >> Preferences) and is accessed by clicking the Break Wire entry under the Schematic folder, in the left hand pane of the dialog.
Options/Controls
Cutting Length
- Snap to Segment - After cutting, the wire will snap to one of the segment.
- Snap Grid Size Multiple - The cutting length will be grid size multiply the number specified here.
- Fixed Length - Specify a fixed length to cut.
Show Cutter Box
Enable one option to show cutter box: Never, Always, On Wire.
Show Extremity Markers
Enable one option to show extremity marker: Never, Always, On Wire.
