Summary
To specify Ellipse's properties in Schematic Editor.
Access
During placement, the dialog can be accessed by pressing the Tab key.
After placement, the dialog can be accessed in the following ways:
- Double-clicking on the placed object.
- Placing the cursor over the object, right-clicking and choosing Properties from the context menu.
Options/Controls
- Border Width - Select an option from the drop-down list to set the line width used to draw the ellipse. The available line widths are Smallest, Small, Medium and Large.
- Border Color - Click to specify border color.
- Fill Color - Click to specify color filled in the ellipse.
- X Radius - This field shows the current X coordinate of the radius of this ellipse. Edit the value in this field to change the radius of the ellipse directly.
- Y Radius - This field shows the current Y coordinate of the radius of this ellipse. Edit the value in this field to change the radius of the ellipse directly.
- X Location - This field shows the current X coordinate of the center of the ellipse. Edit the value in this field to change the position of the object directly.
- Y Location - This field shows the current Y coordinate of the center of the ellipse. Edit the value in this field to change the position of the object directly.
Locked - If this option is checked, the ellipse is protected from being edited graphically. Lock a ellipse whose position or size is critical. If you try to edit a design object that is locked, you will be informed that this object is locked and asked if you wish to proceed with the action. If this option is unchecked, the design object can be freely edited without confirmation.
- Draw Solid - Enable this option to have the body of the ellipse filled with the current Fill Color. If this option is disabled, the ellipse is drawn as an outline (border) only with its body being transparent.
- Transparent - Enable this option and this ellipse can let other objects come through when this ellipse is placed on top of these objects on the schematic.
