Summary
The Bus Entry dialog allows designer to edit the properties of the Bus Entry.
Access
The Bus Entry dialog can be accessed prior to entering placement mode, from the Schematic - Defaults Primitives page of the Preferences dialog (DXP » Preferences). This allows you to change the default properties for the Bus Entry object, which will be applied when placing subsequent Bus Entries.
Click Place » Bus Entry to place a Bus Entry.
During placement, the Bus Entry dialog can be accessed by pressing the Tab key.
After placement, the Bus Entry dialog can be accessed in the following ways:
- Double-clicking on the placed Bus Entry object
- Right-clicking the Bus Entry object and selecting Properties from the pop-up menu
Options/Controls
Location
- X1 - X coordinate of the first location of bus entry
- Y1 - Y coordinate of the first location of bus entry
Color - Color of the bus entry
Location
- X2 - X coordinate of the second location of bus entry
- Y2 - Y coordinate of the second location of bus entry
Line Width - Width of the bus entry
Locked - Check this option to lock the bus entry.
