Summary
This dialog allows the designer to align selected objects horizontally and / or vertically.
Access
With one or more objects selected:
- Right-click over a selected object, choose Align » Align from context menu.
- Click Edit >> Align >> Align.
Options/Controls
Horizontal Options
- No Change - Leave the horizontal alignment of the selected objects unchanged.
- Left - Align all selected objects to the left edge of the left-most object.
- Center - Align the horizontal centers of all the selected objects.
- Right - Align the selected objects to the right edge of the right-most object.
- Space equally - Horizontally space out the selected objects evenly using the leftmost and rightmost objects as the left and right boundaries respectively.
Vertical Options
- No change - Leave the vertical alignment of the selected objects unchanged.
- Top - Align all selected objects to the top edge of the top-most object.
- Center - Align the vertical centers of all the selected objects.
- Bottom - Align all selected objects to the bottom edge of the bottom-most object.
- Space equally - Vertically space out the selected objects evenly using the top-most and bottom-most objects as the top and bottom boundaries respectively.
