Notes

As this command is relative to the cursor position, it is a good idea to position the cursor in the desired location, prior to launching the command (using the keyboard).

This command can be used, through its respective keyboard shortcut, even while another process is running, for example during placement mode.

When you are performing any editing action in a document, moving the cursor to the edge of the document window will automatically pan the document.

Right-click and hold in the workspace to bring up a panning hand cursor. You can then effectively pan the document in any direction by dragging the cursor.

You can use the mouse to zoom in/out of a region of the PCB using the following methods:

1. CTRL+ Mouse-wheel (middle mouse button) to zoom in/out.

2. CTRL+ Right-click and drag to zoom in/out.

You can also zoom in or out while placing a design object on the PCB interactively, eg. when you are placing a footprint.
