Parent process: PCB:UnRoute

Applied parameters: Object = Connection

Summary

This command enables you to unroute the physical connection between two pads. After launching the command, the cursor will change to a crosshair. Select the track you wish to unroute or one of the pads it is connected to and click or press ENTER. The tracks and any vias between source and destination pads will be removed and replaced by the logical connection.

Continue unrouting further connections or right-click or press ESC to exit.

Availability

In PCB Editor, run command Tools » Un-Route » Connection.

Notes

If opting to unroute a connection by clicking on the associated pad, the following behavior is observed when there are multiple connections to the pad: current layer track will be unrouted first, followed by track in layer stack-up order (from the top layer down).

If any track is locked a confirmation dialog will appear, asking whether you want to allow the unroute for locked primitives. If you select No, then only track that is not locked will be unrouted.
