Summary

This command enables you to unroute all physical connections attached to a particular component. After launching the command, the cursor will change to a crosshair and you will be prompted to choose a component. Position the cursor over the component whose physical connections you wish to unroute and click or press ENTER. All track attached to the component will be removed and replaced by the logical connections.

Continue unrouting the physical connections of other components or right-click or press ESC to exit.

Availability

In PCB Editor, run command Tools » Un-Route » Component.

Notes

Track is unrouted from a component pad to the next destination pad along the track. Track on the other side of this destination pad will remain routed.

If any track is locked a confirmation dialog will appear, asking whether you want to allow the unroute for locked primitives. If you select No, then only track that is not locked will be unrouted.
