Select Physical Connection On Layer

Summary

This command is used to select routed track on single layer. After launching the command, the cursor will change to a crosshair. Click on a track or pad and all contiguous track on current active layer will become selected. Continue selecting by physical connection or right-click or press ESC to exit.

Availability

In PCB editor, click Edit >> Select >> Physical Connection Single Layer.

Notes

The pads themselves will not be included in the selection.

Selection is not cumulative. As you select a subsequent physical connection, the previous physical connection will become deselected.

The default selection color can be changed in the System Colors region, Board Layers And Colors page of the View Configurations dialog. Click on the color box for Selections to launch the 2D System Colors dialog. From here you can choose one of the predefined colors or create a custom one.
