Redefine Board Shape
Parent process: PCB:RedefineBoardShape
Applied parameters: None
Summary
This command is used to define a board shape if it does not already exist and redefine the shape if it does. The board shape is essentially a closed polygon.
After launching the command, any existing board shape will be removed and the cursor will change to a crosshair, ready to place the new board shape. Position the cursor at the point you wish to start the outline of the shape and click or press ENTER. Move the cursor and click or press ENTER to position a series of vertex points to define the outline.
When you have finished placing vertices for the outline, right-click or press ESC to effect placement. There is no need to "close" the polygon as the software will automatically complete the shape by adding an outline segment from the start point to the final point placed.
