Support for Global Bookmarks in Smart PDF

Emphasising the 'Smart' in Smart PDF, Altium Designer 14.2 provides the ability to include global bookmarks for the components and nets in your design.

To include global bookmarks, simply enable the Global Bookmarks for Components and Nets option, on the Smart PDF wizard's Additional PDF Settings page.

The resulting global bookmarks can be found beneath the list of schematic sheets included in the generated PDF.

When browsing components at the global level, click on the parent-level entry for a component to highlight it, by its designator, on the relevant source schematic sheet. Alternatively browse by, and highlight, its associated pins. When browsing nets at the global level, you can further browse by pins, net labels and ports associated to a net. These sub-level bookmarks will be included in accordance with settings made in the wizard prior to generation of the PDF.
