Placing a Frequency Generator Module

The CLKGEN device provides a simple method for generating a signal of desired frequency in a design. Figure 1 shows an example of how the CLKGEN device is wired into a design.
In the example circuit above, the Frequency Generator module takes the NanoBoard's system clock (CLK_BRD) as its time-base and produces a clock signal for the TSK165B_D microcontroller, whose frequency is some integer divisor of this reference frequency.
Remember that when using any virtual instrument in a design, you must ensure that the Soft Devices JTAG chain is enabled. For more information, see Enabling the Soft Devices JTAG Chain.
