Summary
This dialog provides controls related to PCB print preferences. The designer can configure graphical appearance, font, mechanical layers and other options in this dialog.
Access
The PCB Print Preferences dialog is accessed by clicking the Preferences button at bottom-left of the PCB Printout Properties dialog.
Options/Controls
Colors & Gray Scales
By clicking gray color sample, the designer can choose gray scales from a gray color table. Click color sample to open Choose Color dialog, in which the designer can choose color for related layer.
- Retrieve Layer Colors From PCB - Click this button to retrieve existing layer colors from PCB board.
Font Substitutions
- Default - Enable this option to define default font substitution. Click button in right side to open Font dialog, in which the designer can choose a desired font, including font style, size, etc.
- Serif - Enable this option to define Serif font substitution. Click button in right side to open Font dialog, in which the designer can choose a desired font, including font style, size, etc.
- Scan Serif - Enable this option to define Scan Serif font substitution. Click button in right side to open Font dialog, in which the designer can choose a desired font, including font style, size, etc.
Include on New Printouts
This is a list of mechanical layers. The designer can enable the desired mechanical layers which will be included on new printouts.
Options
- Print Keepout Objects - Enable this option to print keepout objects in printouts.
- Use Net Override Color - Enable this option to use net color to override layer color.
