Function
Main article: Logic Analyzer
The LAX panel allows you to view the data captured by a Logic Analyzer instrument. It is also used to configure triggering and other Capture Control options.
Notes
The panel for a Logic Analyzer (LAX) device will be available once the design is compiled and downloaded into the target device. The LAX panel is accessed by:
- Clicking the Show Panel button on the associated instrument panel for that device. This instrument is loaded into the Instrument Rack - Soft Devices panel when you double-click on the icon for the LAX in the Soft Devices chain of the Devices view.
- Clicking the LAX button at the bottom right of the Altium Designer workspace.
- Selecting View»Workspace Panels»Nexus»LAX from the menus.
If there is more than one Logic Analyzer device in a design each device will have its own LAX panel associated with it, distinguished by the designator assigned to the parent LAX device on the schematic sheet.
