The Parameter Editor Options Dialog.

Summary

This dialog allows designer to define what parameters will be managed in Parameter Manager.

Access

This dialog is accessed by clicking Tools » Parameter Manager. 

Options/Controls

Include Parameters Owned By

  • Parts - Enable this option to include the parameters owned by parts in the Parameter Manager dialog. You can also toggle the other Parameter-owning object options to narrow the scope of the Parameter Manager.
  • Nets - Enable this option to include the parameters owned by nets in the Parameter Manager dialog. You can also toggle the other Parameter-owning object options to narrow the scope of the Parameter Manager.
  • Sheet Symbols - Enable this option to include the parameters owned by sheet symbols in the Parameter Manager dialog. You can also toggle the other Parameter-owning object options to narrow the scope of the Parameter Manager.
  • Pins - Enable this option to include the parameters owned by pins in the Parameter Manager dialog. You can also toggle the other Parameter-owning object options to narrow the scope of the Parameter Manager.
  • Models - Enable this option to include the parameters owned by implementation models used in PCB for example in the Parameter Manager dialog. You can also toggle the other Parameter owning object options to narrow the scope object options to narrow the scope of the Parameter Manager.
  • Ports - Enable this option to include the parameters owned by ports in the Parameter Manager dialog. You can also toggle the other Parameter-owning object options to narrow the scope of the Parameter Manager.
  • Documents - Enable this option to include the parameters owned by schematic sheets in the Parameter Manager dialog. You can also toggle the other Parameter owning object options to narrow the scope of the Parameter Manager.

That Meet the Following Criteria

Select a scope of criteria for objects to be included in the Parameter Manager dialog from this drop-down list.

  • All Objects
  • Objects with existing parameters
  • Objects with existing used parameters

Other Options

  • Exclude System Parameters - Enable this option to exclude system parameters in the Parameter Manager. Use the other options to narrow the Parameter Manager's scope from the whole project to the specific subset of parameters you wish to manage.
  • Selected Objects Only - Enable this option to include selected parameter objects only to appear in the Parameter Manager.
